2005 NPC National Bodybuilding Championships

This years contest was a great experience for me. I finished in a tie for 15th place in a very competitive heavyweight class. Although I had planed on competing as a light heavyweight, I was looking a bit “over conditioned”. We did a good job of filling me out but I think I still missed my mark and actually ended up looking my best a couple of days latter. Most importantly, I looked a great deal better and carried over ten lbs more muscle than I did for last years show. And having received a lot of positive feedback, I know just what I have to do to be more competitive next year. And I promise I will be.

The best part of this years show was meeting new people and seeing old friends. I won’t mention names because I know I’ll forget someone and I don’t want to do that. However I do want to mention one person who totally amazed me with her knowledge and her kindness. That person is IFBB Pro Joanna Thomas. With out her I would have been a wreck. She was there for me every minute and always had an answer when the going got rough. Thank You Jo

Congratulations to all the competitors. Especially women’s overall winner Mimi Jabalee, light heavyweight winner Denna Westerfield, Middleweight winner Norma Nieves, and lightweight winner Carla Salotti

I’ll have many more contest and post-contest pictures to come on my new site soon.

Sorry to all MySpace friends.

My Apologies to everyone for my lack of response to all of you on my Myspace profile. I have had trouble accessing it.  Unfortunately the folks at Myspace have been of absolutely no help, and it doesn’t look like they’re going to be. So although my profile is there and looks OK, I can’t use it. My guess is I’ll have to start a new one when I return from the North Americans. I look forward to seeing all my bodybuilding friends in Cleveland.
